Book 7. Vector Control Pesticides Environmental Impacts
The literature on the impacts of adulticides on terrestrial wildlife is evaluated as well as aquatic receptors such as fish, crustaceans, aquatic insect larvae, mollusks, algae, and amphibians. The toxicological literature is derived largely from New York City and Westchester County Environmental Impact Statements and supplemented by recent studies. Toxicity data for pets is presented, if available. The search will be used to identify dose-response and hazard data in a variety of wildlife species, including non-target insects, insectivorous birds. Drs. McElroy and Brownawell of the SUNY at Stony Brook, Marine Science Research Center reviewed data on the toxicity, persistence, and fate of mosquito control pesticides in the coastal marine environment. Book 7 contains the following Parts:
