Book 5. Overview of Mosquito Control Pesticides
Chemical and biological agents for controlling mosquito larvae and adults are discussed. Studies are cited that evaluate their effectiveness and potential human and environmental effects. Agents are included that have been evaluated by the EPA as well as others that are purported to be effective. One Part of Book 5 discusses how adulticides are applied and mathematical models that are used to describe the way the pesticides are dispersed. Book 5 contains the following Parts:
